Home of the Toronto Blue Jays (Baseball) and Toronto Argonauts (American Football)

Rogers Centre, formerly known as the Sky Dome, is located right next to the CN tower. Together, they form a distinctive skyline of the city. Last summer, I went to the Rogers Centre to watch a baseball match – Toronto Blue Jays v/s St. Louis Cardinals (From Missouri, USA).

↑ Stadium crowd. I like my telephoto lens – 55-200mm Nikkor.

I was always puzzled by Baseball. It sounded like overly simplified Cricket: A guy from team A throws a ball at a guy holding a bat from team B. The team B guy is supposed to hit the ball and run on a path shaped like a square, while the players from team A find the ball and return it to the one of the corners of the square. If the ball reaches before the hitter, team A gets the point and the hitter goes out.

The game lasted for a long time and since Toronto was losing, lot of people started leaving. I admit I was getting bored, but having a camera comes in handy in such occasions. Unless someone gives me a free ticket, I doubt whether I’ll go for a baseball match again.
