One of the city’s oldest parks, The Allan Garden has a cute little botanical / horticultural house in it.
Bounded on four sides by Jarvis, Gerrard East, Sherbourne and Carlton streets, this little park, located at the edge of downtown, is an easy find. There is a botanical garden on the west side of the park while there are random play areas for kids and dogs on the north side.

To be honest, I am not a big fan of botanical gardens, aquariums or zoos. Perhaps since I like to go into the nature often or perhaps because I am not so excited by the knowledge of species and sub-species of the plant kingdom.

This place is a great stumble upon while you are exploring the city’s Gay village, Cabbagetown, Regent park or Garden district all of which are located in the surrounding neighbourhoods.
nice place!!!!….
I have definitely been in this neighborhood but I don’t think I visited it the garden. Like you, I often find them not so exciting but after our white winters I actually like seeing green stuff 😉
Hi Zhu, this place is like oasis in the middle of a cold desert during winter. 🙂
Was this the place where we cut through a park and there was a small greenhouse on one side?
