Wangdue Market, Bhutan

Next to the Wangdue Fort-Monastery is the little village of Wangdi. It has a central square which is the centre of all commercial activities here. Like a typical village center, you get everything – food and groceries, general supplies and even board a bus or shared taxi to another town.

While waiting for my bus to Thimphu, I got a nice cheap meal at one of the shacks and then shopped for biscuits at the adjacent shop. I was wonderful!
