Legislative Assembly of Ontario
The Legislature of Ontario is located at Queens Park, Toronto. This unicameral house has 107 MPPs (Members of Provincial Parliament) and is currently governed by the Liberal Party with The Progressive Conservative Party being the opposition.
The ruling party sits on the right side of the speaker while the opposition is to its left
The house has some beautiful decorations and carvings

One can take free building tours to explore different aspects of the Legislative building. I was there last week during a lunch hour tour.

Looks like… er… work?
You should come and visit the Parliament in Ottawa. It’s free and the view on top of the Peace Tower is amazing.
Sounds very promising… I hope I can do this very soon!!
It gives the aura of Englishness, I don’t know why. Do the people have to wear those powdered wigs whenever they meet?
Yeah it does look very British, doesn’t it? May be the clean straight lines and rectangles, or the occasional spikes…
From the parliament proceedings that I’ve seen, nobody wears wigs. That would be funny though!
