I spent very minimal and I think I did a lot. Save accommodation $$ by couchsurfing, save food $$ by eating on the street, save transport $$ by taking public transit and save sightseeing $$ by visiting places during happy hours! :) Perhaps I should write a post on this. It's so nice to get away from the city for a break. I got woken up by the chirping of birds, reminding me of Mumbai - in Toronto I hear only streetcars and taxis. For presents, I got a bunch of things ranging from tea to torchlight... hope you had good holidays too, lol my reply is coming so late! :) Thanks Anna, wish you the same!
