Twin Rainbows!
Look at the beautiful rainbow. Try locating the subtle tinge of a second rainbow left of the prominent one. It’s slightly right of the lamp post, can you see it?
I love the feeling of sun piercing through clouds after everything has been freshly drenched in rain. This picture is from the Queen West – Bathurst neighborhood.
No internet!
So I am without internet for a while and so I am spending some time at the public library nearby since it has free internet. I have to do this since human beings like me can no longer survive without internet.
My bike locked to an artistic bike stand next to the globe outside the library. Checkout my post on bike-racks.
Water fountain inside the metal globe.

Wow!!! Beautiful.
I have seen a full double rainbow in aapli Mumbai when I was young. Alas…in those days, we didn’t have a camera!
hehehe! Its a mere coincidence that I was at the place with a camera, otherwise we miss so many nice things.
I’m almost moving to the point where I take pictures for the purpose of blogging and its bugging me!
Wow, love the double rainbow, too cool.
Thanks Bob. It was the first time I was seeing parallel double rainbows. Previously I had seen 2 at random angles to each other.
Double rainbow? Where? All I see is one coming out from the very light green trees in the middle of the picture, which cuts right above the spire. Is there another one? Or do I have to get my eyes checked?
I’ll email it. Its very faint…
I too saw a double rainbow once as a kid. It was beautiful. Haven’t seen one since a long time now.
Thanks Amit!
99 branches? Wow!
The Ottawa Public Library is kind of cool too, great services and good network of branches. And free internet
Love that rainbow… guess it’s the up side of stormy weather!
Yes indeed, its so nice when the sky opens up just after rains
