Now how do they get the bikes out?
Amit, it is virtually impossible to bike when it is snowing. However, large part of the winter is snow-free with plenty of sunshine and blue sky. With adequate protection, one can comfortably bike!
These photos are so funny to see while Australia swelters in summer heat.

Is it like Europe when the sunny days are far more colder than the snowy ones?
Pretty much yes. On snow-fall days there is a huge cloud cover (obviously) that blocks out the chilly winds, hence the low cold temperature. On sunny days its usually wayy more colder.
Nice Picture!! Would prefer the snow to the heat in Mumbai now!! Only thing that makes the heat bearable here is the start of the mango season and that is weeks away.

Yuck! But then again, I shouldn’t be saying that, since I’m on the other side of the lake and we supposedly get more snow than you. I am just glad that we have this snowless sunshine for quite a few days. Makes me happy that Spring is nearby.

Thats expensive. You know what, I had a dream about it last night after reading your comment. Someone gave me Rs. 300 to buy mangoes and I said that it was enough only for buying 4.

And yeah, sometimes it’s fun to ride your bike when your nose become numb and eyes start watering.

i did ride an old czek beauty when i was in europe,
the bike has a reverse pedal braking system which takes time to adjust too
and if not snow there was ice rain and it was like 4 or 5 or something and my fingers were frozen and
one more thing does ur vision blurr and things go misty if u don’t wear a cap?
I dont know about blurring vision, I wear sunglasses. Wearing a hat to cover your head and ears is essential.

Yes, it does go blur if your eyes are naked. I am talking when it rains ice.
Oh gosh Cuckoo why (and where) did you go cycling in ice rain? You simply can’t, its slippery.

It was the first time and yes it was quite slippery especially when it snowed in plenty
first snow and plenty of sunshine and i almost dislocated my knee
